- Kid: “Scary Stories to Tell In the Dark.”
- New Adult: "Wingman."
- Now: "Mass Effect Retribution."
Is there an author you look up to? Or had an influence on your craft?
Drew Karpshyn.
He wrote the Mass Effect books that were part of the trilogy and some Star Wars books as well. I really loved his writing style.
How would you describe your craft in one sentence
Sometimes organized and sometimes chaos.
At The Dreamer's Bookshop, we embrace diversity and advocate for invisible illnesses. How do you feel about those topics? Do you include messages in your writing?
Caste division practices are an invisible illness we have in our society, and my story is about correcting the mistakes our ancestors made.
Do you have red lines when it comes to writing/reading?
I'm not big on dark romance. (In fact, it's hard for me to write romance). Going more into this, I am not big on graphic sexual scenes.
Was there a review that touched you more than others?
One of my readers stated she was never much into sci-fi due to it being hard to follow for her. Sci-fi can be very complex.
She is currently reading my book, and she said so far it was easy to follow. It's actually drawing her more into the sci-fi genre.
If someone asked you why you write, what would you answer in one sentence?
Writing has always been my therapy when dealing with stressful issues in the real world.
Which book are you most proud of and why?
Peacekeeper (my first sci-fi).
I never thought I would be able to produce anything, and I did. That book has been a part of my soul since 2023.
What would you tell an aspiring writer?
Never give up and keep pushing yourself.
What's a wish you have for yourself as an author?
I want my books to be in Barnes and Noble and do a signing there.
I'm pushing for that.
What's a wish you have for yourself as a person?
I wish I could go back to college and get a degree in Creative Writing.
