Indie Authors Uncovered - Meet the person behind the pages - Ajay Nair - Empowerment & Suspense

Where were you born?

I was born in India.

Where do you live?

 I live in Canada.

Do you have fur babies?

No, I don't.

Do you use a pen name?

No

What kind of writer are you?

  • Old School Notebook and pen Writer.
  • Modern Day : Laptop or PC Writer

Name one book you loved as a kid - one you loved as a new adult - and one you love now.

As a Kid, I hated books, I never read books really.

Whatever I hated to my core, later in my life, I started doing. I cannot believe myself that I am a writer now. That is the reason why my writing is unique and no influence from anyone will pop in.

Is there an author you look up to? Or had an influence on your craft?

No.

How would you describe your craft in one sentence?

Character driven women empowerment, who fight against injustice, is my craft.

At The Dreamer's Bookshop, we embrace diversity and advocate for invisible illnesses. How do you feel about those topics? Do you include messages in your writing?

Caste division practices are an invisible illness we have in our society, and my story is about correcting the mistakes our ancestors made.

Do you have red lines when it comes to writing/reading?

Always, whenever my characters speaks negative towards me, I stop. I take a break and let the character give some space to calm down, so I can continue.

Was there a review that touched you more than others?

"The Woman with Two Shadows" is a compelling read with minor imperfections. Once you embrace the immersive setting and the intense narrative, it offers a truly thrilling

experience. Ajay Nair has crafted a powerful story that stays with you, vividly portraying a challenging period of history through the lens of unforgettable characters and a gripping

plot.

Definitely recommend for fans of historical fiction blended with suspense and drama!

If someone asked you why you write, what would you answer in one sentence?

I want to empower people with stories. I want to create characters who can become a voice for the ones who cannot speak out.

So I love the creativity that inspire people to do the right thing.

Which book are you most proud of and why?

The Woman with Two Shadows.

The very same reason I answered the prior question.

What would you tell an aspiring writer?

Don't doubt about your creativity. Keep writing and don't expect anything from anyone.

Just keep writing, one day there will be someone out there who will love your creativity.

What's a wish you have for yourself as an author?

I wish, my brain never stops thinking about stories that empower humankind.

What's a wish you have for yourself as a person?

Practice detachment and live present.

Do you have a message for your audience?

Yes, Simple. Read my book-The Woman with Two Shadows. You will not be disappointed.
