Where were you born?

I was born in Kharkiv City in Ukraine.

Where do you live?

I live in Northeast Ohio in the U.S.

Do you have fur babies?

I don’t have any fur babies. I take care of chickens.

Do you use a pen name?

No, I don't.

What kind of writer are you?

  • Old School Notebook and pen Writer,
  • Modern Day Laptop/PC Writer

Name one book you loved as a kid - one you loved as a new adult - and one you love now.

  • As a kid Jimmy by Robert Whitlow.
  • To Kill a Mockingbird as new adult.
  • Now Wonderstruck by Brian Selznick.

Is there an author you look up to? Or had an influence on your craft?

I started to appreciate Katherine Applegate and her writing.

I want to write something like she does. I love how she makes you think more deeply about things and want to do better.

How would you describe your craft in one sentence?

I was told my craft of stories is beautiful, haunting, poignant, but beautiful and heart-warming.

At The Dreamer's Bookshop, we embrace diversity and advocate for invisible illnesses. How do you feel about those topics? Do you include messages in your writing?

I advocate for supporting people who deal with some form of mental health and how we can help each other to process and grow together and knowing we don't go through it alone.

I advocate the importance of family and community.

Do you have red lines when it comes to writing/reading?

NA

Was there a review that touched you more than others?

"I usually don't read this genre....but I loved this book! I did not want to put it down!

If you are looking for a Summer Hallmark story.....this is the book for you." -

 Amazon Review

If someone asked you why you write, what would you answer in one sentence?

I want people to know we all have a story to tell.

I want them to enjoy the stories I created.

Which book are you most proud of and why?

Dust and Crown.

I wanted to write one about Anastasia Romanov, but there are already several retellings out there. Then I thought, what about fairies? So, I wrote one, and I'm glad I did. I had so much fun creating.

It's like returning to my childhood when I was all into fairies.

What would you tell an aspiring writer?

It is okay to explore other genres and figure out what you like.

You don't to stick to one. Take your time and grow in your craft.

What's a wish you have for yourself as an author?

It's okay to ask for help. Find the right people to help you in your stories and be open to learn and grow.

What's a wish you have for yourself as a person?

Become a better person and become the person God wanted me to be.

Do you have a message for your audience?

A young girl with long brown hair and a crown on her head.

Don't be afraid to try something new.

It is okay if your story takes a long time to write. You don't have to publish every story you write, but publish a story you truly want to share to the world.
